I know this is quite a departure from what you're used to seeing me submit to deviant art. This is a pastel/coloring pencil drawing I recently did as a birthday gift for a special someone who is quite fond of her beagle/corgi mutt named Chevy. I just wanted to remind folks that I am capable and on occasion do draw and paint something other then comic book and sci-fi characters. But that's not to say there's nothing new and cool under the sun of that genre as well. Check out some of the new stuff that's turned up in the last 24 hours . . .Speaking of all things ROM and dogs remember this sad moment from ROM spaceknight #2? siskoid.blogspot.com/2008/05/i… ROM's compassion for the innocent was one of the many things that made him so awesome.

me too, but i'd sure wish someone could invent the cure to their shedding and their occasional need to eat shit i just don't get that one.

Depends on what kind of coat the dog has. Having had a German Shepherd for many years, I can tell you they shed like crazy, being double-coated dogs. Regular brushing is a must, especially in the spring when it comes out by the handfuls.
As for that other problem, no cure for that yet. Ugh.

speaking of ROM and dogs i dunno if you ever read ROM #2 but there is a sad moment in the issue but it's kinda cool too because it shows you in another way why ROM was so awesome . . .

Yeah,Rom was not the Typical super-hero book,i loved the fact that there were many horror elements,space opera and violent deaths in there.

well as the panels on the page the link goes to it also shows how ROM was not just a bad ass alien but also had this unwavering compassion for innocent lives. it's one of the reasons why i kinda think of ROM as being the Optimus Prime before there was Optimus Prime.

He has a strong moral integrity indeed ,he's literaly the embodiment of the "white knight"and Bill did a great job of not making him bland(like Superman),there is a real tension in him due mainly to his sacrificed humanity.
