Description
You close your eyes and see me before youThink you would die if I were to ignore you
A fool could see just how much you adore me
Get down on your knees and do anything for me
(Genitorturers - I touch myself)
Some cheese again :U
I just thought it was time to draw some Modern Thief stuff again *peeks to Cerviero* and when I draw modern times, it all ends in cheese and kitsch again.
Drawn with copics.
You could be mi-mi-mine,
all the ti-ti-time~

This is my first critique. so bear with me, haha. being a portrait artist, i know how intimidating a face can be, and i have to say that you did a very fine job capturing the facial structures, and giving it depth. Also, i love how you added your own style, with the texture you gave in the coloring, to the the piece, and making it more original. the lady's hair is well done.
The only thing i have to say about improvement is: to darken around the mans lips on the womens face to make it look like he is going in for the kiss. it would give it a lot more depth, and in turn, making it more realistic.
overall, i love this piece. nice job(:

Wow, it's an honour then to get your first critique Thank you!
And I will keep your suggestion in mind. I am always a bit shy to colour man's lips, because I fear they look like they're wearing lipstick then xD

I like the overall composition of this piece. I assume that you were working from photo reference, so in that case, if you cropped it, I like the way you did it. If not, well, your photo reference has a nice composition.
As for the shading, it's a little choppy, but I appreciate the realism you are attempting to portray with your copics. I would suggest trying different marker strokes, such as circles to get more subtle transitions in value. I like the way you rendered the girl's hair.
If there is one thing that I think you should try differently, I suggest not using such a thick black line for your outlines. It takes away from the realism of your piece, and doesn't match with your less obvious tonal variations in the skin.
Another thing I would like to point out is the background color you chose. Though it works well with the skin tones, you kind of lose the hair from both of the people. I might have done some color studies beforehand, to see what color would have worked best.
Overall, this is a lovely marker piece, and it is far superior to what I see a lot of other artists doing here on dA. Keep up the good work, and I hope you found this critique useful!

One word.
AWYEAH.
But... I have to go back on my word and write more. This is seriously taffing awesome. It even took me a while to discover this is traditional, and COPICS?! WTF how do you do this with markers?
ANYWAY, to conclude:

I don't know. The picture is A4 size, so I had an easy game using layers and layers of copics. Notto mention I was kinda high afterwards xD

Kissing again? D: Get a grip on yourself and draw Modern Trouty with modern Hagen, miss Or modern Trouty with Stanley. Or moders Trouty with Karras. Anyway, there must be modern Trouty in it
Apart from that - great picture I really can't imagine how can one get such smooth colors with copics. Very emotional piece as well
And Hemy's hairs deserve drooling. As always

:U So many unimpressed faces? :U Then I MUST draw modern Trouty... actually I got some sketches for Trout and Hagen pics, even one in modern style, but they seem a bit off, so I won't upload them. xD
Must do new ones. Any suggestions?

Sketches of Trouty and Hagen? Sendthemtomeinnoteplz-savemefromdesperatestrugglewiththesis
Suggestions ...Hmm
-Truart tapping Hagen on the shoulder while he holds in hands his new contract about working for Gorman's company
-Truart trolls Mosely who tires to find something to catch on within tax reports of the company *wanted to draw this for looong time*
-Truart in his office angry crumples some paper with his hands, while Hagen near looks at him with ... eeer.. Hagen looks? Concern, devoted, calm you know, Hagen-like Paper probably from Stanley, telling Gorman he did something really nasty, but lawful, which is going to payback on Truart's company
-Truart at his work-table at night. Looking tired, but also pleased, with his usual I-know-I'm-awesome-attitude while looking at some papers. There is also coffee cup perhaps?
Need any more?

X'DDD I laughed so hard at the 'Hagen-looks' and Mosely being trolled
And one can't draw Truart without his I'm-awesome-attitude. Because he IS awesome.
I think I'll try to draw the contract stuff :3
