Description
An ink picture after the famous and beautiful Melencholia I by Albrecht DΓΌrer. He is one of my favourite artists and one of the reasons why the Renaissance in Europe was so awesome.
Nehema has some problems in the last time, so I decided to draw her that way, although I could have also chosen Nova. As you see, I changed the most items on the picture so they fit the Thief-world better, like gearwheels, a bot instead of the cherub (and I did SO NOT WANT to draw the fugly golden child there, that Karras created! *shudder*), Forgy instead of the dog and some pages with glyphs. I also added a sword to her feet to show her connection to the City Watch and a Hammerite gravestone in the background to represent her friendship to Hauntie. The other items fitted very well, so I let them stay as they were.
Ah, what a luck I bought a new block of Ink-paper and a new feather yesterday.
Still it is a shame to see my picture in comparision to DΓΌrer's. He can't be copied.

The whole picture is wonderfully reminiscent of old medieval ink drawings! Except the anime eyes. Don't get me wrong, I love anime as much as the next person! I just think it kinda takes away from the picture.

Awww danke. ^^ Naja, mit Tusche sind Schattierungstechniken ja ΓΆh relativ einfach. Entweder man macht ne Schraffur oder man nimmt Punkte. Mehr MΓΆglichkeiten gibts ja nicht. xD
