Garrett on a balcony. I found this pose in my Thief-Screenshot-Gallery and tried to draw it. It was not easy and the screenshot is better, of course, but hey, I like it.Char:

Good on the color, shows the difference between light and shadows. interesting design on the shoulder guards, and nice asymmetry between fighting hand and guard arm. the scar looks a little odd though. Is this set in 'The metal age' or 'Deadly shadows'? Dagger makes me think 'Deadly Shadows', but the scar looks like i imagine it did in 'The Metal Age', all fresh and puffy. I don't know what Garret's official age is, but to me he always seemed to be younger than older, but cynically ancient in spirit. I think you have his build right, too. What thief wants to be a muscle bound hulk that gets stuck in tiny spaces? Good picture, i think you did a good job with it.

Thanks for agreeing in Garrett being young and thin. I also can't imagine him getting stuck in a window, because he has too many muscles. And except for the bowtraining he won't have much workout, too.

Looks about right. In the first game he's likely to be skinny or small because he's basicly an urchin that's run into a bit of luck, it's only in Deadly Shadows that he's built like a Russian tank...

Well did you see his arms? He looks like Chris Redfield in the late Resident Evil games... failing that, Garret looks like he does nothing but chin-ups and bench-presses using hundreds of his explosive mines for weights.

I think hes to skinny, he could fit through the gaps in the balcony.
I'm kidding, for the record, but I felt I had to say something redudant. I actually really like the banister, and how you can see the treetop through it to give you a nice perspective. His pose is pretty spiff, too.
