I had one more Christmas-related idea in me...I hoped to finish it by Dec. 25th,but what with my nephew's wedding and the general hubbub that comes with the holiday,well...but at least I got in done before the holiday season was over!ΒΒ

Yes...from what I've heard,Roth wasn't a huge fan of Mickey Mouse ears being a hot item among California's kids in the mid-to-late 1950s,so this was his response. Β Β

Makes sense, as for me I would made him a Porky Pig character observing the slapstick of his enviroment to come back at his generic personality.
