Years after the creation of the Fawcett version of this iconic superhero,but created one year before Marvel's version was one appearing in M. F. Enterprises' publications,in 1966....he only lasted four issues,and his company didn't fare much better either.

A jet-booted,laser-eyed android sent to Earth to escape his war-torn planet,he took the human name Roger Winkle,serving as a Dartmoor University professor. The only person who knew his true identity was his young ward Billy Baxton. Along with his many standard superpowers,he had the ability to detach his limbs at will by shouting "SPLIT!".

As previously mentioned,his series was short-lived; his writers chose to give him antagonists with names or appearances similar to characters already in other company's comics....these included Plastic Man,Dr. Fate,the Bat,Professor Doom and the Destroyer....and it's pretty obvious what that resulted in.
