Yes,it's the holiday season once again...and what better way to acknowledge this festive time of year than with the 1996 comedy abortion Jingle All The Way!I normally don't put any effort into art that recognizes things I hate,but...well,I actually had the idea about a month after last Christmas,and...well,damned if I didn't like the idea so much I promised myself that come next Christmas........!
I could turn this into a long and entertaining rant as to why I hate this movie...with a passion...but I've already done it. If you're interested,read my journal entry The worst holiday movie EVER.
Obviously,the title is meant to be read out loud...the last two words should be said quickly,as if both were of one syllable.

When I was creating this,I was wracking my brains for a title...I thought of everything I could think of related to toys,Christmas,the movie itself,Schwarzenegger...then I remembered that line from the movie..."Put that cookie down!!"...which has since taken on a life of its own on the internet. Substituting toy for cookie seemed simple enough,but I realized it'd have more impact if the viewer heard Arnold's voice saying it,at least in their mind's ear. I have two other pieces where I spelled out phonetically lines heard in the unique voices of Peter Sellers (as Inspector Clouseau) and Tommy Wiseau's iconic line from The Room...I just kept saying "put that toy down!" in a Schwarzeneggerian voice over and over again,until the spelling came to me...
