Description Although at first glance, this appears to be a simple rendering of Batman and Robin, there were some things I wanted to accomplish here.
First,I wanted to create an original Batmobile. As I went through the initial sketches,it soon became apparent that I was combining elements from my two favorite versions, the one from the Adam West TV series and the one from Tim Burton's 1989 movie. I wanted it to look big, almost tank-like,to give the impression of something that completely protects the riders while barreling down the street,in the hunt for flamboyant evildoers!
Second,I wanted to create an image that looks like it came from a box containing a toy (or model kit of a) Batmobile. I had one of those Corgi Batmobiles when I was a kid,the ones with the tiny removable figurines of the Dynamic Duo. (I'd love to have one today, but they probably go for hundreds of bucks on Ebay.) I also had one of those Batman metal lunchboxes they were still selling in the early 70's.

Yeah it makes sense why you wanted to expand the metallic width of the Batmobile so that when on the road it gets less casualties than the regular assembly line final product made car on the road for less casualties. Plus the colors used in coloring in the city background are pretty old school Batman like as well more for the 1989 film than the campy 60s sitcom.
