My entry for and their Edgar Allan Poe contest.

For most, their initial exposure to the works of Baltimore's most famous horror writer is usually either The Raven or The Fall Of The House Of Usher; for me, it was The Tell-Tale Heart, specifically the animated version from 1953 from UPA, narrated by James Mason. Having seen it while still in grade school, it spooked the hell out of me. Such a lasting impression could not be ignored, especially after finding it again many years later on YouTube.

....which, incidentally, is an endorsement. If you haven't seen it, DO SO.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
