Description
While I've already done several Amalgam comics covers featuring completely original characters combining DC and Marvel characters,this one takes the established character of SuperSoldier (Superman/Captain America) and draws upon DC's Reign Of The Supermen miniseries.The quartet featured here combines characters introduced in the Reign storyline with Marvel characters associated with Captain America;each also has a hint of SuperSoldier included. They are Battlesteel (Steel / Battlestar), Survivor (Last Son Of Krypton / Nomad),Dreamgirl (Superboy / American Dream) and Cyberagent (Cyborg Superman / U.S. Agent).

I'm afraid I don't know who "Mr. Z" is....if that's,as I'm assuming,one of Superman's foes,I'm not familiar with him.

Immortal Nazi that kind of disappeared in the mid 90s as far as I’m aware. Superman met him in the 80s then again in the 40s on his“Linear Men” time travel adventure, and saved some Jews from Z’s Nuclear testing.

Wow, this looks like an interesting take on the Reign of the Superman story arc before they laid down the boom on a certain city. Aside from that, I like the Dreamgirl and the Cyborg Agent idea the most.

A different option would have been to use the characters from the Fighting Chance storyline: Super-Patriot (Farrell), Americop, Free Spirit, and Jack Flag.

I thought of Guardian, but in Amalgam, he's technically combined with the Golden Age Angel to create, well, Guardian Angel.
