Description
......I sort of drew on my memories of all the movie theater lobbies I saw as a kid,all of which are either closed or redecorated, and married them to everything I've seen in 1970s commercial interior design.Related content

Well,it's not based on any one theater lobby, and I used archetypes of that era...American Old West-style lettering for signage, fake sepia tone images of pre-1950s iconic movie stars. And they seemed to be overly fond of orange, beige and dark blue, accented by dark brown wood and reflective metallic surfaces.
Thanks for the !

Well aren't those similar colors used in the painted background of Ren & Stimpy for the thirty five millimeter technicolor look despite being released in the early 1990's?

To me,Ren & Stimpy cartoons always looked like some deranged parody of TV cartoons of the 60's...which is what I believe creator John Kricfalusi was going for.
