Description Okay, this one's going to take some explanation....it's an experiment, really, something put together quickly as a test.

In the mid-70's,DC Comics decided to give the Joker his own comic,a monthly series of him usually finding himself at odds against another villain, many of them Batman's other nemeses. It only lasted nine issues,so we never got to see the Joker/Justice League clash that was planned for #10. A few years back,I found images of the unfinished art on the internet...it was being auctioned off...so I took the opening page and finished it. The result, the killing joke, can be seen in my gallery among my superhero art.
The above image is that art copied, then made to resemble an actual printed page from a comic, albeit not one in pristine condition. I used a technique I recently discovered on my Picasa 3.

Still hard to believe that this design for Joker was once actually canon...

This is the Dennis O'Neil/Neal Adams Joker, who made his first appearance in '74....part of a series of changes meant to eradicate the campy image of Batman from the 1960's TV show, this was the first version of the Joker who was not only a criminal, but insane.
