This homemade Amalgam combines the Justice League--in particular,the short-lived Detroit-stationed roster of the mid-80's--with the X-Men--with reference to the group born out of the classic mid-70's story "Deadly Genesis".At the very top is Mindseye{Martian Manhunter/Cyclops},while in the next row from left to right is Spellcaster{Zatanna/Nightcrawler},The Flexisteel Man{Elongated Man/Colossus}and Mist{Gypsy/Storm}.Directly below them is Sunsteel{Steel/Sunfire},while at the bottom is Vixx{Vixen/Wolverine} with Thunderstrike{Vibe/Thunderbird}on the right.
Based on an illustration that appeared in "JLA:Incarnations" #5,November 2001;original art by Val Semeiks,inks by Kevin Conrad and Prentis Rollins.

Flexisteel Man's suit has more Plastic-Man than Enlongated Man.

DC created Elongated Man four years after acquiring Plastic Man from recently-defunct Quality Comics.Although he started with a purple suit,Elongated Man changed to his more familiar red suit,which he wore during his years with the Justice League.There are similarities between the two suits.
