Description
This homemade Amalgam combines the Crime Syndicate of Amerika,the evil-alternate universe superbeings encountered several times by the Justice League,and the Squadron Sinister,a similar group that were pitted against the Avengers{not to be confused with the Squadron Supreme,who may or may not have been the same group}.
Their roster includes Ulterion{Ultraman/Hyperion},Golden Owl{Owlman/Golden Archer},Johnny Whiz{Johnny Quick/Whizzer},Lightbender{Power Ring/Dr. Spectrum},and Diva{SuperWoman/Lady Lark}.
Coming up with names for these characters,the first three were relatively easy,it was the next two that required more thought.
Calling the Power Ring/Dr. Spectrum hybrid something like "Spectrum" or "Dr. Power Ring" left me cold.Both characters have mind-controlled super-science weapons.It then occured to me:just what does a prism DO?Hence,the name.
As for the sole female superbeing---"Super Lady" was far,far too generic,"Lark Woman" just didn't sound right;I came to the conclusion that,like Lightbender,using any sort of combo-name wasn't the way to go.Lady Lark's power is a lethal form of singing,so I considered "Siren".I decided I liked "Diva" better.
