December is still two days away,but I decided to get the first of this year's holiday-inspired artwork posted; it came to me about a week ago,while I was watching Mystery Science Theater 3000...specifically,Santa Claus Conquers The Martians.
In one of the host segments,the 'bots are incredibly bummed out by the movie,but Joel raises their spirits by telling them he tricked TV's Frank into sending up some other holiday-related entertainment. These include the Charlie Brown Christmas special (along with the revelation that there's no actual scene of them eating Dolly Madison snack cakes),as well as Miracle On 34th Street and It's A Wonderful Life...regrettably,neither are the original versions...and a few (fictional) low-budget,by-the-numbers holiday movies.
