VERMIN (Violence, Extortion, Robbery and Murder International Network) is a criminal offshoot of the crime investigation and counter espionage group MICE . VERMIN's founder is Selena Cortez, a MICE agent who went deep undercover with the criminal services group CATS . What happened to Selena as an agent of CATS remains classified. What is known is that instead of returning to MICE afterward, she formed a group that would engage in the very activities she'd opposed as an agent of MICE.
