Update: Original sketch is up on my blog in case you would like to see: [link]This piece is about a world where there are these creatures that live in the water, but if they break the surface they become paralyzed by fear because they are... really stupid.
There are also these little land dwelling monsters that move into the water creatures and make them their homes.
It was kind of a weird idea I had while doodling in a coffee shop. Soon after I realized this kind of parallels my current frustrations of finding my own place to live. The apartment I wanted had restrictions and I could not move in. It has made it difficult for me to look for anything else as I fell in love with that apartment. But anywho, I'm looking into some other options now.
I just think it would be cool if we could toss a line and easily find a new place to live.
I worked on this during a few live stream sessions, thanks to all who stopped in to check it out, I will also post the original sketch soon, if anyone is interested.

Illustrator is my love. By far my favorite program to work with. It can be difficult to pick and get used to as it requires a different frame of mind. But like everything, with enough practice you can really control the way you want things to look.
