this reminds me of the lines from a song..

i know a few trees along the desert roads here that are like this.. they've become milemarkers to me, i even have names in my head for them..
the contrast of color in the background to the stark silouette is a complete reversal of the norms.. it works well

Very nice Myles, I realy like this one. I'd like to have seen the shot moved over a few metres to the right, so that the setting sun could be seen and not masked by the tree. I know you have intentionally went for this approach, as it s a part of yourstyle (like Inspired, and the lighthouse photo) But I'd like to have seen the setting sun on this one, due to the softer nature of the sky. The silhouette is great and in terms of this style of photo, the framing is great and not too much. Good exposure and nice colours have been captured as a result. All in all, a good photo and a
