Why do the thumbnails of pngs always look weird and fugly =_=anyway, I liked this as a sketch but not so much as a CG, mainly due to my lack of ability to either make a cool unsheathing effect or a BG.
This is the slightly altered design of Durian the metaknight boy. His sword is shaped like a katana sortof, unlike metaknight's spikey-weird one. Galaxia's hilt is like 2 inches and it comes out with some flashy lightning effect that I couldnt do well. Durian's real counterpart wanted either a katana or a gunblade when I asked what he wanted his sword to look like. Dreamland has no room for gunblades =3=. Iunno why I even ask him, he refuses to read the comic 'cause it isnt written from right to left. (I CANT READ THIS!? ITS BACKWARDS)
I think that's everything... time for ramen and japanese gundam gaming that I cant read! Why are you yelling at me, Rey!!?!?! NO COMPRENDE!

Factoidness~
The reason it looks a bit funky as a thumbnail, is because dA removes the alpha channel of a .png when it shrinks the image down. When the alpha is gone, the pixels that are see-through or transparent become solid again.

They look like that because DA recognizes JPGs primarily. So, the smaller versions do not support transparency, which in turn leaves the edges around the transparency kind of marred because of the resizing.

Yeah, the only point I can think of for the spikes would be to make it extra-painful when ripping it out of someone... not that kirby would have any of that >__>
