Was thinking about what it'd look like if I tried to do Mango's story with the same feel, but without the kirby hooks. I tried other colors but I'm hooked on the yellow+pink thing. It might still be too similar but ehhh so is jigglypuff. Thought experiment ovar!?Related content

Eh iunno about that. Adeleine only kinda looked like the kirby 64 one, and nothing about her powers was unique to the kirby franchise.
That said, I imagine un-dreamland Adeleinish char as some sort of former ninja that decided to live as an artist, but is still full of ninja tricks and tools.

and i suppose the chances of them bringing back adeline ever again are slim to virtually non existant sadly enough...A shame since she was my favorite of all the kirby characters

Is that a hint that your going to attempt this take on the whole mango cast and not just our favorite 'killed kirby and made him into a hat' enemy nommer?

This idea makes me feel a bit uneasy. Mango is Mango, but is Mango Mango if she's not Kirby? If so, then what is Kirby Mango? A fake Mango or the true Mango? It is a nice experiment, but I prefer the design of the original Kirby Mango over the design of this Original Character Mango. Nice idea giving the jacket eyes to stay in the whole "the clothes make the same face Mango has" theme though.

Ha ha. She has the same mouth placement as Kirokokori's Wafer. Still, it works well, and - as you said - the colors just fit. I don't think any others would be as Mango-ish.

I dunno, I like KB better than Mango, but only because its your own characters AND story.
I think a revamped Mango story would be interesting!

That mouth-body reminds me of King DeDeDe in KD3, where the Dark Matter Eye sticks out of that same area :U

I thought the exact same thing! When Dedede suddenly sprouts a face on his stomach and tries eating Kirby.. that freaked me out as a kid.
