I got a new mannequin (my current one doesn't have a display thingy) at IKEA when buying things to design my room, and my mom kept telling me to paint it. I started doodling on it, and decided that since it was rather androgynous that I'd make Leeron.I couldn't get the color oh his outfit right, so I ended up just doing the time-skip outfit with some spray paint (I am so going to buy felt so I can make the other outfit > <
. I can't really use spraypaint, so it's kind of smudgy, but it's hard to tell since it's black. I did his hair in crayon and then painted over it with clear nail polish. Then I added on the details of his outfit by cutting and pasting paper. The problem was that after I finished him, the smell of paint and permanent marker infested my room.He's still wearing pre-time-skip shoes because I love the fact that he wears red patent heels.
There is an utter lack of Leeron fanart. . .One of you artistic people! Fix that!

Leeron is awesome. What makes him really cool is that his character is so different from the others. It might be the purple make-up. But anyways, I'd wish he'd get more screentime

Leeron totally inspired me to buy purple liquid eyeliner. Leeron deserves his own show. It would be a 70s style variety show named, unimaginatively, "Leeron's Variety Hour" and there will be much dancing and costume changes.

This is SUCH WIN. I've been meaning to draw Leeon, [predictably] he's my favorite! (GASP--that means I've begun watching Gurren Lagaan again~!) xD Well, between him and Cytomander, though I haven't seen his character in action yet..I've got a fanart somewhat in the works though!
This is the perfect media for him xDD;;; he's got such a funny head, it's the perfect shape! He needs a vest though~ Still, a wonderful job! I love crafty things like this!

I know! I need to go to the craft store for vesty supplies (he's basically become my neo-barbie doll).
I was worried about whether his face wasn't Leeron-y enough, but I knew I was in the clear when my sister saw it and ran away in fright.

Nonono, the face is DEAD ON XDD I thought I put that in the message...damn! Well I thought it while typing, thinking "Oh I'll type that next...OH WAIT!" then got distracted D,| but at any rate, YES it's extremely Leeron head to toe~ That's something I worry about actually, he's very stylized, so I hope I can draw him correctly....but I'm looking forward to it!
