I got into a bit of a weird mood today, listening to Radiohead's Reckoner. So why Prowl and Jazz? Mostly for the lines 'Did I cater to all your needs?'. They're a tough couple. They're effectively polar opposites on the surface. But, Prowl isn't the 2IC and Jazz isn't SpecOps head for nothing. Which means that there's a very strong chance that they've more in common than it would seem. Though they probably have to have a heck of a lot of give and take and just trust in each other even in every day dealings.
Anyway.

This is very...I wouldn't say dark I'd say intense because it does reflect them in their struggles. Prowl always acts so calm and collected while Jazz acts so happy and carefree, but are they really? When together I think they show how they really feel, and in this you really capture that. The intensity of the last panel for Prowl's expression shows a glimpse of it.

Very deep and moving. I think it's Prowl's face in the last panel that really gets me. So full and yet in a sense, empty, but then again passionate.

Ide never even thought of it in such a context.. probably cause i never analysed the words, (partly because windows media on both my computers refuses to rip the CD properly and that song doesn't work without the CD). But seriously, this is just awesome

This is rather funny... On some random night I hit the "Random Deviant" button for the first time, click on their featured image, and find that they like this song that I like as well but was unaware of another person who liked it. I mean, I knew other people had liked it, but I hadn't really communicated with them in any way.

The "snapshots" of those stolen moments and touches make it so powerful!! Jazz is a tactile mech, no question asked, and seeing him use touch rather than his words makes the viewer just tingle at all of the barely contained emotions...wow!!
And I agree these two are more common deep down inside than is often given credit to them...but all that leadership and strength - the walls they need to be the best at what they do and save as many lives as they can - come crumbling down in a few tender touches...this is like poetry in pencil sketch *bows*

This is very beautiful! Great style with the black and white on grey. And the cropping makes it very intersting.

Excellent work here--sharp black against grayscale is very striking. It reflects both, even in the softness--the tenderness conveyed here.
And I agree with you about their similarities, the secret to their relationship; their approaches may differ, but their cores are very similar. Prowl persues and wears logic like Jazz does his style, there's a focus and passion that's almost identical, though the outlets are different, and in some respects, necessary. Logic stagnates eventually and chaos requires some direction, both forces combined engendering creation itself--life from the balance of elements.
And damn yes--Prowl is a hot rig...

And it's also interesting, because those qualities are hidden - I 'ship them, yes, but I also think that if they had met outside of the war, if Jazz hadn't had all those chances to prove his competency to Prowl and Prowl hadn't been able to see beneath Jazz's chaotic exterior, they would have had been an absolute hell-made match.
