Maybe it's because I'm from Canada, and was hoping there was a Bronycon somewhere in my home country.

Fair enough. Most conventions have a fair share of bronies attending these days so you should find out where the nearest one is to you!

I already know of one in Halifax, Nova Scotia(about an hour and a half drive from where I live). I actually attended that a couple of years ago. That one is more sci-fi than MLP related, though. No word yet on if they'll do any MLP related panels. I've favourited the website and everything. If they host any MLP panels, I'll try to make it a point to attend.

There weren't any specific MLP panels at Expo, but there were lots of bronies and a brony meet happened so there was still plenty of love and tolerance around.

Well, then, maybe there'd be some unofficial brony panels at Hal-Con. It all depends on the financial situation with me in October(That's when the convention is held).
