Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has a fun little multiplayer mode where one player controls Link, who runs around collecting Force Gems (aka: triforce bits) and bringing them back to their base, and the other player controls three Phantoms (aka: big, angry, Iron Knuckle-type things) who try to catch him. Each player has three turns as Link/the Phantoms.Anywho, there's an item in the multiplayer mode that makes a clone of Link that runs around randomly to confuse your enemy.
...But when I think of "Link clone", the first thing I think of is Dark Link...
Something tells me that an item that creates Dark Link on the spot wouldn't be too handy...

...I have such a love-hate relationship with multiplayer mode. D: Ugh... I love the game, and I'm not bad at it, but honestly, the only people it matches me against are people who are absolutely AMAZING (who are fun to play against, but I always lose xD), and people who QUIT ON THE SPOT if you hit them ONCE. CRIPES.
There needs to be some sort of warning at the beginning of multiplayer mode that tells you if you disconnect, you lose 30 points and your reputation goes down. Before I looked it up, I had no idea that there was ANY penalty for quitting, and I'm pretty sure 95% of players don't know, either.
In my opinion, the penalty should be much stricter AND obvious. You know how Animal Crossing knows if you shut off your game without saving? There should be something like that, where Ciela pops up and yells at you. XD
And also, I think... if you disconnect, it should count as a loss against you. I DON'T CARE IF YOUR DS RANDOMLY RUNS OUT OF BATTERIES, OR YOUR INTERNET CRASHES, OR YOU ACCIDENTALLY DROP YOUR DS OUT THE WINDOW, IT SHOULD BE AN INSTANT LOSS.
That's the only way to control the crapsacks who quit every game just because they're losing.
THEN MAYBE THEY WOULD STOP.
AND WE COULD ALL ENJOY THE GAME.
WOULDN'T THAT BE NICE?

If that really happened when you get the clone item that would suck. Dark Link being like Link you would think he could see Link and follow Link into the safety zones. That would be a big problem!

That clone thing is great if you get it when you control the phantoms, they have no idea which one is real XD
Yeah, you should see how it was in mario kart, half the time all 3 people who I was beating would quit and the game would just end

Link looks a little TOO happy when in the "clone created" panel. Maybe he secretly wants a stunt double to do all the tedious puzzle work while he gets to chop up the monsters and get all the glory.
Very cute comic, and don't worry about the ears so much. At least they're not so long that they're down to their knees or anything.
