The composition seems a little strange.
The pattern in the background, and the mouse with antlers could look nice on their own, but they don't seem to mesh that well together.
Good technique, though.

It seems to me as if there is a lack of attachment between pattern and subject,
there's almost no interaction between back- and foreground,
therefore there's no evocation of depth, which is usually a bad sign.
Perhaps some interaction through color could also helped,
but I will keep it in mind to check if back- and foreground are really interwoven.
