Reason for name: She was abandoned as a fawn and found by her adopted mother Rillow lying underneath a nettle bush. Porcupine comes from her spikey fur, which protected her from the nettle bush.

The rest of her pelt is covered in spikey fur. Her pelt is also thick because the spikey fur covers a thicker undercoat which keeps her warm in the Air of Hidden Sun and the Air of Fallen Leaves.
Colors: She’s darkly colored, which helps her blend with her surroundings at nighttime. She has faded white spots near her rear. She also has a boot pattern with the colors on her lower legs near her hooves.
Voice: Nettline has a singsong voice, soft and higher toned.
Accessories: A sparrow feather tied to a tuft of fur behind her ear.

History Nettline was born to a widowed doe who’s mate had been killed defending her from a bear. Her mother ran away and bore Nettline near a patch of nettle bushes. After she had her fawn, her mother panicked, thinking that she couldn’t care for the fawn herself. She hid Nettline under the nettle bushes so predators wouldn’t attack her. Then her mother left and Nettline still doesn’t know what became of her. A foraging doe named Rillow found Nettline under the bushes while searching for food. Immediately she fell in love with Nettline and adopted her as her own. Growing up, Nettline had an incredible memory. Rillow taught her what to forage and what not to forage. The Mythe at the time saw potential in Nettline and took to training her. An exceptional student with memorizing and healing made Nettline a fantastic apprentice. When her mentor died, Nettline was still a younger doe. She quickly accepted her role as Mythe and now serves her kingdom with the knowledge of an older deer.

Roleplay example Nettline awoke, her eyes blurry with sleep. She lifted her head and yawned widely. She’d been up all night treating Chemo’s sickness. Even though it was only a cold, she didn’t want to take any chances. She stood up and stretched, arching her back towards the ceiling of leaves. Shaking out her fur, Nettline snatched up the newly restocked herb pile she was using to treat Chemo. She walked towards his den and dipped her head low to the ground when she entered. Then she nodded in greeting and walked over to where he was laying. He lifted his head, his antlers nearly brushing the ceiling.
“You work too hard. You should get some-“ he was cut off by a fit of coughing and weezing. He looked back up. “Rest.” he finished. She laughed, trying to lighten the mood. She hated seeing her leader like this, but no deer was immune to sickness. She pressed an ear to his chest, trying to listen to his breathing. “Breathe in as deep as you can” she instructed, listening carefully to see if there was any bubbling in his chest. She didn’t hear any, which meant that he was definitely getting better. She picked up her head and smiled.
“Well, it looks like you’ll be better before the week is over” she chimed.
