I'd have to second that. All too often I wonder if I'm doing what I ought to be doing, or if I shouldn't be doing something else. It's niceΒ to see a presentation thatΒ notes many others share the same boat.Β Definitely a relatable and enjoyable episode.

For the first time ever i was little bit bored watching this episode :/
At part when Luna were talking to Applebloom and she worried said "i must be only pony in universe this worring about cutie mark" and luna answered "I wouln't say that" then she showed all these doors,for some reason i hoped Luna will show some scene from her childhood...something like herself as filly having nightamres and fears f own cutie amrk...would be epic....but noooooooo

I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it was a fun ride. Lots of cool visuals, a honest and very true way of looking at the moral (Which is learning to see who you really are and that's the only way you'll love yourself), and the nightmare that wouldn't end until Apple Bloom realized that. Reminded me a bit of Groundhog Day. I also liked the detail of Applejack singing that lullaby right before Bloom goes to sleep, then when Apple Bloom wakes up for real, the first thing those two say to each other is that same lullaby. It shows Apple Bloom really learned something but she couldn't understand until she was put through hell. So that's why I really enjoyed it. Very nicely paced, great animation, cool looking new characters, especially that Steampunk looking guy, and the story/moral arch.
Well then, I don't normally give low ratings. I give either high scores or low scores, not many times do I give scores that are in the middle, because I always try to see the good in something, really look at it and see if I can appreciate more, if possible.Β

I admit, throughout the first half, I was begging for this not to be a dream. Β Seriously, imagine how interesting it would be for one member of the crusaders to get a cutie mark and then deal with a great internal struggle because of it.

This is easily the weakest CMC meets Luna dream episode. The idea had merit to it, but the execution faltered. The whole "Groundhog Day" element should've been scrapped. If this was a dream episode about AB getting her mark, and slowly the dream turns to a nightmare about how she seems to lose everything, that'd be fine. Instead, it's unpolished and has several plot elements that make little sense.

Well Scootaloo shouldn't be really having this issue about "facing her fears" again. She did that already in Sleepless in Ponyville. Plus, I think it was a really bad idea for Babs' cutie mark to be hair cutting and styling since it doesn't seem to fit her, nor did she ever make any mention of it in the episodes she was in, and in the comics. Not to mention that Sweetie and Scootaloo being afraid is kind out of left field. We don't really see them act scared, or pretend they aren't afraid about having an unwanted cutie mark. It feels more like it was in there at the last moment. The story is just unpolished and poorly structured.

I felt like to me it was a dream, within a dream during a dream and felt like I was watching "inception". I wasn't disappointed just somewhat confused while watching it. I did like the episode but I can't say that I love it. Over all rating for me is a 7.

Yeah I found this episode to be meh, there were some good parts but overall it was just too predictable, aside from everybody overhyping it to be a "Applebloom and Luna and Dream episode" deal.

Yeah, not really a fan of ratings but I'd give this episode a C. Still wish they can make a episode that gives Celestia some development and although I like Luna I just find her to be very overrated. Oh well, at least the FiM Comics from IDW still do a better job with Celestia in giving her depth and character development than what the show provides.

I have to give this episode an A+ just like the previous 2. It shows Apple Bloom going through a struggle that the CMC have not even talked about before. What would happen if they got their marks? The 3 Nightmares that Apple Bloom goes through what Apple Bloom is worried about happening. Seriously when have we seen what the CMC would be like if one of them got their mark. Sure their was "Cutie Pox" but there was very little about it. When I heard the premise, I was really hoping she wold get her cutie mark. But honestly, after seeing it, I am glad it ended without her getting it. Also, while we did already get something about Cutie Marks that make the person sad (Magical Mystery Cure), we didn't really go in depth to it much. Here we saw the stuff about that as well, in addition to disappointment over what the cutie mark is after finally getting it.
We might actually get a good 'odd numbered' season for once! This season has been AMAZING just like season 4, because of the even more well written plots, better characterization, and feels even more like the greatest show of all time: Sailor Moon (The original Japanese version and the new Viz Media dub. The old DiC dub and Sailor Moon Crystal are horrible)Β
So far I would say:
4 > 5 > 2 > 3 > 1
