Kinda interesting that my grades on this one and last week's one are the almost exact opposites. I think despite the episode's faults, compared to last week's, the episode was able to throw the audience one curve ball after the next. This is something I see often in Rick and Morty where the plot can be fairly stock, but the drama and comedy should be unexpected. That's the primary reason why I enjoy this episode more, because it did exactly that, rather than just do exactly how I imagined it would after the first 2 minutes. Not only that, but the moral is played out much more evenly here rather than mostly saving it 'til the last third of the episode.
