"That map looks like an elaborate torture chamber death trap"- THEdragon on 'Space Mama's Crater'
So this is my side of an art trade I had going with . The theme was 'the infamous difficulty of Picture City', the Rayman world everyone loves to hate. Seriously, when I was little, Picture City was my favourite level because I loved the colours, the theme and the music. I still do to this day, but it doesn't stop it's levels from being hard as heck, as I'm sure anyone could tell you if you haven't tried it for yourself! At least the version of Rayman I'm currently playing is Rayman Advance, which tones down Picture City's difficulty for that very reason (it doesn't really help me though
).I'm not entirely sure how Rayman's going to get out of this situation...

Ohhhhh those lightning eyes are SO annoying! Especially when, like, five of them fire at once and there is lightning coming from ALL DIRECTIONS! I'm so surprised (and a little worried) that Rayman just keeps a calm smile almost the entire way through!

Indeed, lightening eyes are a nightmare. Perhaps one of the most fail things that ever happened to me though was when I was fighting Mr. Skops and we both killed each other at the same time, but it counted as a death for Rayman. So while Rayman was dying, the victory music was playing, and then I had to restart the whole things! If it helps though, I beat him the next time around
Here's hoping that the Rayman in the picture hasn't wasted all his continues in Band Land or something

Yeah, the only problem is if you're in a situation like me. This is where you've nearly won the game but have Electoons left to get spanning over the whole of Picture City and Eat at Joes. Oh Crud.
In other news, I've been working on the Party at Joes comic again! Crikey, it's been so long since I added to it last - but this first 'chapter' is nearly done! (although I have to go back and work on the panels earlier on that I deliberately left blank due to to the hard work that's going to be put in them...)

Only one problem - I spent ages drawing an indoors background only to go back and notice the description in your original story clearly mentioned a roof, meaning it was still outside! Ah well, I'll think I'll just leave it as it is, it looks cool anyway. Ceilings are cool, right?

Yep, another inconsistency, like the fact that Tarayzan doesn't always have his earring or leaf garland. I think it just depends on the artist that drew him, and so therefore the same can apply to fan-art - you can choose! I personally opted on giving him ears when I drew his power-point model sheet.
Speaking of which, I have actually seen images of Joe with only one pair of eyes before 0_0

Heh, I was talking about inconsistencies in official stuff though. I'm seriously convinced that Rayman has been the only consistent one (while in a Rayman 1 style I mean, I am aware of the many re-designs ;D)

I think the Musician's wife was consistent, although she had a grand total of THREE appearances, one of which was made of recyc-OH WAIT I JUST REALISED
In Rayman AC the Musician and his wife switched feet.

No, the Musician's wife has inconsistent lip-stick. Both me and my brother agreed that she doesn't look like the type of person to wear it though - so she's better off without.

At the moment I'm having to work on a comic for school. It's pretty cool because I get to use characters I invented when I was six

My first character was called Robot 2. He was a blue robotic number two with a funny voice who lived in a lemon house on a island full of friendly dinosaurs
