Description
Pretty much my first animation, and I know it's very brief, but I'm actually quite happy with it, and even satisfied to see it done. I did plan to make a short full animation of it, but due to timing and other work needing to be done, I only animated a certain section of it. I may try and finish the whole thing later in future, but I will be making more animations for my college project soon, including a minute long one, which is set to be the main assignment of this term.I animated this in Abobe Animate (Flash), and took me pretty much about a hour and a half just to complete all of that.
Hope you all like it!

Awesome job with this, I can only imagine just how many hours went into this - really fluid movement, and Roboto is so full of character. Very well done, man.

Looks awesome dude! I haven't had any experience in Flash, but I have messed around with Toonboom. It's a lengthy, but fun process to animate something!Β

Thank you very much buddy! I do find Adobe Animate/Flash is actually alright (and it is a good software as a starter point), although I personally wouldn't use it to make a professional animation. Because mainly the brush settings I've always found awkward, and it doesn't give you a lot of size options for creating line art. The size of the brush does also change when zooming in and out of the stage (but there is an option to turn that off), but I do still find the available brush sizes very limiting.
As with ToomBoom, although I currently haven't used it as much at the minute, from what I've gathered playing with it on the trial, I find it much better to draw in. From my experience, it does seem to give you much for options for brush size, colouring I find easier, and the lineart also comes out much nicer then it would Flash I find. I also find Toom Boom a bit more convenient since I'm able to use the software pretty much similar to as how I would use Paint Tool SAI, when it comes to the drawing.
However, I haven't tried animating very much on ToomBoom yet, but animating in Flash is almost easy once you get to know everything. And although animation is indeed a lengthy process, and requires a lot of patience. I've always found it fun, and I always find it so satisfying when you complete a part of an animation, and see a character you've made come to life. That's one of the many things I've always loved about making an animation.Β

Not bad for your first animation C:. Β For future endeavors, I'd look into examples of more fluid and natural animation, so it looks less Flash and more dynamic x3.

Thank you so much, and I appreciate your constructive feedback too! I'm hopefully going to put a little more time into my next short animation, so it's something I'll be able to try and work on. Thank you very much once again!
