I decided to draw Oscar from RWBY Volume 4, because I'm weak for freckles on real and made up people.Help me protect this precious freckled boy who has too many troubles (and souls) for one person.

im liking this guy so far. this may sound funny, but he reminds me of Luke Skywalker somewhat; hes a farmboy living with his aunt but secretly wishes for greater aspirations and now he is being lead (and probably will be mentored by later) by a some wise ol' wizard that had his body destroyed but now continues to interact with the living realm in some incorporeal form (or in this case through another individual). cant wait to see where it goes from here.
on side note, for some reason i suspect that Oscar is being setup to be Ruby's eventual love interest.

I never thought of that before but you've got a strong point there.
Also I'm always a little iffy with Ruby and love interests (Unless it's Lancaster or White Rose), but I think I could be down with Ruby x Oscar.

again idk why the thought occurred to me. maybe because theyre both destined for greatness and from the way things are shaping their paths are fated to cross and intertwine, if not because of Ozpin's will. and is it me or does Oscar look a bit younger than most of the male characters in RWBY? he actually seems about Ruby's age.

I feel like they would make an interesting pair. Plus Oscar seems to be very down to earth which I think Ruby would appreciate.
