Hello! I am from projectcomment's point giveaway.
The space looks great, but it just doesn't look...*real* to me. Maybe at bit more depth and color could help with that?
Β The robots, shading, and lighting look great, but maybe a bit more lighting, as the light from the window makes it look light, but the shading makes it look dark.Β
Β The technology glow looks good as well.
Nice job!

Well I think his one is not supposed to be real XD it's based on a very cartoony showΒ
and I wanted it to look like it was from the show.Β

I didn't mean actually real. Some artists can make it seem real, but not real at the same time.
If it's in the show's style, and you feel that you captured the style, then great!

Hai, I’m fromΒ  Β

I think you did really good on both of the characters. And the shading, it’s great! Better then I could ever do. And how did you do the galaxy behind it? It’s all fantastic!Β

Hi! I'm from ProjectComment (I dunno how to link the club),Β

I like the illustration a lot! You did a very good job on the shading and light, and the galaxy in the window looks very pretty! I do think you could make a more evident expression on the female robot, and perhaps add a few details to the throne. The position of the robots look very natural! Good job in general!

Hi, I'm from ProjectComment ,

I must say you do an excellent job in drawing these pics, the sci-fi / tech like glowing bits are my fav part of this picture. The way you executed it is just breathtaking. You make metal look like metal really well I especially also like the outer space bit at the window.

I personally don't see any flaws with this.Β  ^^

Gequibren [2018-12-15 23:03:13 +0000 UTC]

Hello! I'm from ProjectComment Β

This is a great illustration! It's difficult to find faults or things that can be improved here, but I will try to help as much as possible. I will divide the comment into several parts:

Volume, shadows, lights, reflections, occlusion
I think this is the best! I see that you have worked the light that comes in through the window, the reflections of all the bulbs on the floor, wall and seat, as well as the reflection of each of these light sources in the characters.
Besides, I must bear in mind how you have projected the shadows in each of the parts, even in cast shadows generated by each robot. If there is anything that can be improved, perhaps it would be the area that unites the two characters (legs and belly)...making it darker.
The occlusion looks great in all parts, my congratulations!

Creativity, impact
I'm very attracted to this idea, since it's a very typical scene for humans. So adapting it to some robots is very well thought out.

Composition, organization of the elements related to the narrative and what are you telling us
I like how you have placed the characters, and the different elements of the scenario. But I think that in the area on the top left there is a part of the stage that doesn't say too much and maybe it could be crop a bit. Although I understand that you wanted to show how the light came in through the window and that's why you added more area for the stage.

On the other hand, the logos/lyrics are too invasive. I see you have put 3 logos, up, middle and bottom... Do you know about

www.safecreative.org/ or any similar website?

You can register your drawings so you don't have to be introducing so many logos and watermarks or at least add them in places farther away from the action of the scene. In my opinion it's not very clear what the robot "girl" intends to do, and those letters in the middle covering their hands don't help to clarify the mystery.

Colors, saturation
I see that you have used blue everywhere, and that adapts very well to the atmosphere you show in the image. The light in turquoise blue is also a good choice! everything is perfectly saturated

Proportions, anatomy, symmetry, mass
I think you are very skilled in this aspect, the two characters are very well drawn. I think the "male" robot is even better, since he adapts well to the seat/throne. The "female" is also great, although she doesn't give the same feeling of being placed in the legs of the "male" robot.

Expressiveness, emotion, personality, atmosphere
I don't see clearly the expression of the "female" robot... I'm not sure if she really intends to do something positive or negative.
What I didn't like is the smile of the "male" robot, it seems too human. I expected something more like Bender

Despite the possible improvements, it's a sensational image. Good luck and keep going! Β

Thank you for your comment of such insight Β
the blue atmosphere was quite a challenge and some reflective light could still be added, but all in all I'm happy with how this one turned out.Β

Hi! IΒ΄m from

A very detailed drawing
From the perspective achieved to the bottom excellently illuminated in each of its focuses, how is the space drawn, the brightness that is achieved from the window and through the designs of the Autobots. All very expressive, with very metallic colors that make harmony with the environment, the outstanding details that make it see Transofrmers and how its anatomy is well achieved, for what Transformers anatomy represents.

Perhaps those will be the animated versions of Sentinel Prime and Elita One? <3

In short, you have sent an impressive drawing. Very good detailed and neat. Keep it up! You go great!Β  Β

Thank you for the comment! I'm happy to hear the perspective plays out as it should, for I did struggle with it a bit....

The Sentinel is based on the TF Animated series and comics I suppose, and the femme is the commissioner's character, that's pretty much all I know
I've only watched (and loved) the series.Β

Goooossssh, I MUST tell you, this amazing commission is my desktop background and it makes me smile every time I log on!

I'm seriously so super happy I was able to commission this from you, the whole environment is certainly worth a good stare or three. It's just so detailed and pleasant to look at! And has a beautiful use of blues and purples!

I cannot expression my love for your lighting and shading techniques, they are so superb. And you've certainly done Sentinel and my Azalea so much justice. <3 Thank you ever so much for this gorgeous piece, I certainly will be coming back to you for more commissions in the future!!

Sentinel's chin isn't big enough!!11!!

I like the design of the background. It's lighted, glowy, but doesn't pop out too much to swallow the characters. Β

Working with all the dark blues was challenging - to make the characters pop up but not too much to ruin the dark sceneΒ

All those blues where challenging and it almost turned out too dark - but man working with one simple light source is funΒ
