Description
After decades of searching the Solar alliance stumbles upon the ' ArkLight ' during a routine terraforming mission on Titan. Will S.A. scientists finally have their chance to study and unlock its untold powers? or maybe the 'First Wonder' of the Universe is a treasure best left alone.........Hand drawn sketch, scanned and painted in photoshop, various texture overlays used for effect. this pic is still really very much a WIP but has sat stale on my drive for a while, just thought id post it until I get my head back into the zone for it...hehe. Very much a mix of a lot of my favourite movies and sci fi elements...

I would try to separate the values of the background from the character and the rocks in the foreground. It looks almost like the background mountains have the same distance as the foreground; by adding atmosphere you could create a better sense of depth. I would also make the light source a little more intense and less green. I made some quick changes in PS to explain myself better, I hope you don't mind: [link]

Thanks, I experimented with texture overlays on the armour and wanted to achieve a kind of 'slightly worn out look '....really glad you like it!
