time for a meme. i went through my old box of sketches for drawings before 2006. it was fun to do but hard to organize >< i had to get rid of the 2003 section and put a 2010 section cuz i just cant find drawings when i was 10.i thought i was such a good artist back when i was in elementary school and middle school. i was so into myself eww. it took a visit to deviantart and a smack of godly talent in the eyes to push me to the right path.
i joined DA in 2006. i was so scared to join because i thought ppl would criticize my drawings. but there were so many good artists that i wanted to join. i thought that if i joined i would be influenced by these talented people and improve faster. some people that really inspired me back then were kaze-hime, toounit, and loveariddle.
i noticed that my drawings jump around alot.. i dont stick to a specific style to draw or color with. i need to learn to make my art more stable. Im very happy that i learned so much with the time i spent on deviantart.

This reminda me of my old drawings I did and how I got inspired too, I look through my old drawings all the time and I think I'm improving since 4 years old an now I'm 13

Yea, it's very fun to see improvement, especially after 4 years lol. getting a tablet is a good idea. I got mine when I was 13-14ish and coloring just became so much easier and better!

Yah I'm gonna try to get a tablet by this Christmas since I suck at coloring, and when I get my tablet I'm gonna use my new paint program Sai , yay

lol u just dont know how sucky i atcually am. i only show off the good stuff. now if u look at my sketchbook or whats in my brain u'll see how disabled i am haha.

Haha, I've thought about it. I'm just afraid there's not going to be any improvement whatsoever TT_TT. LOL, and you're not disabled - I bet all your sketchy stuff is a heck of a lot better than the stuff I spend a whole hour on.

pfft i have no patience with my sketches. its like i draw a face shape and if its not what i wanted exactly i'll draw another face shape.. the page would be scribbled with face shapes with no facial features on any of em >< tho this yr i gave up on sketchbook... i only draw on the computer now.
