Description its baked.. these are the pics i took b4 baking it.
added the veins and stuff..

took pictures of boths sides of the face.. they look totally different from each angle, like a different hulk.. hahaha

looking up the internet on casting now. to get a few copies for experiment and stuff. b4 i finally paint and apply real hair on him. thot about sculpting the hair on but just thot it wouldnt work out. so yup.. actual hair and jeans!

if you're wondering how come the eyes are all black n dark, they're actually not dug out and hollow, they're actually 2 plastic beads. i put in and work over it so i dun have to worry about accidentally squishing it or stuff. and no the plastic beads for okie for baking, they wun melt or snag down unless its a really hi temperature.

haha....this is very awesome!
It's not often you seen a depiction of the Ferrigno version
of the Hulk. It's usually always versions from the comics.

I love the agression, and I love how you factored in
the mass of the make-up from the actual show.
Good work!!
take care...drive safely

This thing's good. The composition of the piece is solid. Even if you used Cate Moss as you model, the pose and fluid lines through out it give a solid sense of strength. Not just the over all composition but also how the lines of detail in the anatomy flow through the action lines the composition stays strong in every angle you've posted. The planes are great. So many different facets, so many different shadows, so many different reflections. The piece just keeps evolving as you look at it. The things also huge isn't it? what will you cast it in?

With hair, have you tried plumbers putty? dries and is paint ready pretty quick and it doesn't really bind well to other surfaces without epoxy. You can make multiple versions of hair. The stuffs sandable and paintable and relatively cheep.

Also, have you ever used Castelene? It's pretty good, it holds it's own weight and comes in soft - med - hard, and if the hard stuff is still to soft for you, you can add machine wax to stiffen it up some more. Stuff gets soft in a microwave and vaguely smells of menthol when it's heated up, no sulfur either

It's cool for statues that you might want to make resin casts out of because you can cut the figure easily without dealing with wire armatures.

wowowow thats such great advice! thank you so much. ) nah my figure has a wonky pose at times.. lol i just pose up the better looking angle hhehehe

i've heard about Castelene so much, but in Singapore i cant find it anywhere. its driving me nuts... i think i'll have to order it in! i love the hard stuff! XD

and no i havent tried plumbers putty, its sounds great! i'll have to google it up.. and once again thanks so much for the great advice

How can you be so precise. My sculptures keep falling apart.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Curryz In reply to MatevzUr [2009-08-30 17:09:11 +0000 UTC]

i'm not really that precise actually.. i think tons of mistakes everywhere.. but if you build a solid structured amature for your sculpts it really helps.. and i try to use like slighty older super sculpy.. cos its more firm.. the fresh ones are too soft, i always accidentally squish other areas while working on detailing another part. so yah.. i try to get a slightly not so fresh box hahaha i usually open it up n press it. hurts alot less when i squish areas.. hahaha.
