I've been a fan of Record of Lodoss War ever since I bought the entire "Chronicles of the Heroic Knight" manga (all at once) when I was 12 years old.

Yesterday I even managed to buy a copy of the first novel (translated to Spanish) buy just 3€ I've been dying to read the books that spawned the manga for years because of how messy the story has been portrayed in the several Lodoss series. However my luck ends with this first novel because it seems no more of them are going to be translated (The second one was in the work of being translated but I'm not sure if it was released). None of them have been translated to english either (It would seem that they've been translated to French, though...)

This circlet is actually the vessel that contains the Grey Witch's, Karla, soul(?). Since the kingdom of Magic was destroyed, she has survived by possesing the bodies of those that would wear the circlet. She is a mysterious character that helps the evil Emperor Beld in his conquest for Lodoss altough her real motivations are a mystery to him. We could say that she is the main antagonist in the first novel, titled after her, "The grey Witch".

I actually drew this back in June and i had no intentions of uploading it but a couple of days ago ~zirathedarkelf wrote an journal in calling for fans not to forget about this series and draw something aside Deedlit and Pirotess (the two elven hotties of the series) so I guessed I could share this.
