Again, thing for #TheArtAcademy , Picaroons.

We were supposed to draw a referenced portrait in our own semi-realism style.

SO THERE'S. Actually it took me this long because at first I wanted to draw an actor, whose face is undrawable. But I tried. And failed. So I did this cute little girl now, taken from :devlardacil-stock: -> [link]

The assignment was also to do some self-criticism. SO.

I mentioned trying to draw that guy instead, right? Well. It turned out old men are far more difficult for me to draw then young girls. Also, I am actually so lame I couldn't even define some of the mistakes I made in that guy's face. Here, I think I did a lot better, but still, I don't think my portrait is that much alike the original. I've got some serious issues when it comes to drawing eyes. It's something I spend most time on, and they still don't seem right. In general, I need to be more patient. And draw more old men.

Also, I find this portrait trying to be too realistic, but I wanted to keep the similarity...so meh. But apart from all that, I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out.
