This is possibly the most bad ass portrait of Warrel Dane I have ever seen!
The way you did the hair is especially intriguing....and I love how the eyes are blacked out.

I've seen them live last week friday 22nd september... In a very small exclusive concert given here in Belgium... It was the most fantastic concert of my life... I actually had a short chat with Jim Sheppard afterwards (funny guy, very charismatic and just awesome), and then the roadie gave me and my friend a Jeff Loomis signature guitar pick, 2 different versions of their setlist (just a piece of paper with their songs). I also got a NM artist series drumstick, my friend got a guitar string from the same roadie ("Hey, look what I found! A bass string (it's actually a guitar string, but very thick)! Here, you can have it!"). I swear, it was a one of a life-time experience... I screamed my fucking lungs off on every single song of theirs, me being a huge fan, I own all their albums.
They played pretty much all of their newer and older classics like "Next In Line", and "I Am The Dog".
Fantastic.. They even played "This Godless Endeavor". Absolutely mindblowing.. Nevermore will be my most favourite and unforgettable band ever

As for this pic, it's a definite fav.. I admire Warrel Dane so much, his fantastic tortured voice got me and has grown onto me. You've captured his expression excellently, I noticed he loves to really close his eyes on parts of the lyrics where you know his heart screams it out.. "She was born in the year of the dog, She never would betray the world I never saw" When I saw him singing this, you can definately feel his anger, pain and whatsnot...
I'm sorry for this long comment, but Nevermore fans are rare, Nevermore related art is equally rare, and I'm absolutely loving this.

yeah, small concerts are the best...though i've never even seen NM playing live i really envy you. who knows how long i'm gonna wait to see them here in poland...so, you're a lucky guy

i also love warrel's voice, i like your saying it is tortured. that really suits both his vocals and music gives that special and unique NM atmosphere... i can't think of any band similar to them, it's just like they're one of the kind.

and thank you once again for nice words, it made me vary glad, because i did this for you, true fans out there

oh, and I Am The Dog is one of my favorite songs too
