I like Charmander and all fire types, but Squirtle is more powerful against the gyms, but poor Bulbasaur is never chosen, ugh!Β

The one thing I think is kind of weird about the first gen starters is that they're all reptiles of some kind. (Some people interpret Bulbasaur as an amphibian but... it does have "saur" at the end of its name.) The later gens had more diversity.
