Description
I hadn't taken a proper features shoot of this one, so here's my newest cuttlepluff! Candycloud is mainly hand-stitched with my first ever experience with machine-embroidered shinemarks. Before this one, I did them all by hand, but I'm still unsure what I'll choose going forward.

Likes: creating nests out of soft hoarded objects, ex: grasses, clean laundry, pet hair, dust

The Making-of Details:
I had access to an embroidery machine this time and took full advantage of the chance to experiment. I also tried out a new template on the chin, which is invisible in most shots but is where all the vital shaping and closure of the head is finalized. It reduces pieces and will save stitching time. Mauritius taught me the belly template worked great, so I incorporated that into Candy's design as well. New eye shape with a sidewards look this time and experiment with a softer application of the iridescent paint to the eyes, which I like. Each new cuttlepluff teaches me a lesson. Much of it isn't seen by casual viewers, but I'm feeling proud of the progress I've made on my own so far.
