so ... in going through my deviant comments on my page ...i saw a request by ~snir ... "if one day you will get a nice shot of Adriana lima i will worship you for ever ^_^"
don't expect any worship.
that's creepy.
but it made me think, "i know i fuckin' shot her."
so ... searched her name on spotlight through all 1.2tb of imagery ...
there she was.
so ... what the fuck ... i'll submit it.
'twas back at the end of 2004 ... hence the copyright ...
ya' know ... shooting the "angels across america" was a blast.
in fact, i may submit a few more ...
totally forgot about them.
canon eos1dm2. 24-70 at f/5.0 ... a 40th of a sec. 800 iso. yes ... a bit of fill-flash. just a hint ... and converted to b/w in ps cs using custom channel mixing and ... stuff.

I've always had a thing for Adriana Lima; something about her is so different from the typical super model to me. She's rather playful/flirty, and has a certain presence and stance during her modeling and runway work.
I think she actually looks like she enjoys doing what she does.
I do like this image, even if it may not be as perfect as it could of been. It's nice to see her natural beauty come in, and she has such an attractive smile in this shot.
I would say that I think a dash more contrast would suit this image well.
