Description
Haven't drawn any Transformers in a while but suddenly had the urge to do it. Decided to pick up the pencil and this was the result. No vehicle mode was considered, this is simply a redesign for Arcee's Robot mode.Even though Arcee was based on Princess Leia, I always thought the "buns"on her head also looked like Chinese bun hair style. So I used Cheongsam as a design element for the body and give her an overall Chinese girl look.

I really like the skirt and implied boots. This is a really nice redesign. ^_^ Some of the extra bits of metal around her face also remind me of the movie style.

I like it. It's overall more of a themed, coherent, and warrior look than the original. The small angled helmet pieces framing the face look half like hair and half like teeth, as if she's got an animalian predator altmode or history.
Hmm... the segmented nature of the top of the helmet makes it look like it can extend down over her face (probably revealing a visor as it does so) as a battle mask.

Love the hoofs and overall body shape. But I think the skirt is a bit much. I dog get the idea though and its cool. A perfect world would have a few more vehicle bits as well but that's hard for Arcee that's never had much of a set engineering to begin with.
Keep at it!

LOL. Thank you for the comments. Maybe down the line I'll do a more mechanically possible Arcee.

Thank you. You've drawn a very nice Arcee piece yourself.
I always thought the original Acree was a very "pretty" design for a female robot, and I felt too many recent interpretation made her either too hard-edged or mechanical or too complicated. I simply went the opposite direction and wanted to accentuated the feminine aspects.

ah cool. Still with the arch in her feet they look a bit more like she has on high heels and a mini dress. So it still works no matter which way you look at it
