Description
I wanted to do a piece of the original 1980's Optimus Prime. I also wanted it to be cartoon accurate and capture the iconic look and feel of the character.This picture was completed on 5/25/2008. This is my first new Transformers snapshot in 10 years. I started on this piece about 3 years ago but got side tracked after only doing the basic color separations on it. I am very happy to finally be able to finish the image.

Good job. Prime took me 6 hours to draw, not counting 30 minutes to color in. Enjoy it in my gallery here. It might take you a while to find it lol. This is really good

That is a very detailed painting! I really like how you had added the effects of the reflection of the sky on the windows, as well as giving his armor a sort of "gritty" weathered look.
Even for the relatively simple G1 design, you managed to make him look realistic. Great work!
