Description
The first computer art piece I did while working for Bench Press Studios back in 1998. It was done as a simple black & white line-art, and colored in Photoshop. The photo background was pasted in as a last minute decision, and the black lines were turned into color to give it a more CGI look. I just started using a computer around the time and it was purely experimental process. I did learn a lot about combining artwork into photo background from this experience.Related content

Yes, I remember-- I 1st saw those pics featured @ defunctive TF website that was once dominate called www.Bigbot.com. I never knew you were the artist who did those photo background effects for Hot Rod & Cyclonus. They were cartoon & real looking @ the same time.

I remember this piece from long before I joined Dev Art--in fact, I'd accidentally stumbled on it when I got my new hand held and was trying for another art site. Its just as compelling now as it was then.
