Awesome job! Like that he looks powerful, but still maintaining a sense of agility of the original.

it is kind of a mix of the design of both the 1998 version and the design made by Stan Winston in 1994. I wish the 1998 film went with this design

Pretty good. I'd imagine G-Fans would be a lot less salty if this is what we got in '98.

We'd be MUCH less salty if he wasn't killed by missiles, and did'nt completly miss the point of teh original character. Sadly that's how 1998 ultimately turned out.

That too. A lot of people don't talk about the 1983 attempt, which was very much what '98 should've been. And while Godzilla died in that draft, it wasn't from basic explosives, it was from a anti-nuclear bomb shot into his mouth. Think the Cadmium from Godzilla '85.

Yeah I'm aware of that, they were also gonna do a Rodan film as a sequel.

Now see!!! If they would've done this kind of design in the first place... there wouldn't have been so much fan hate... but oh well. This is an epic redesign!!

It’s an excellent redesign of 1998’s Godzilla.
I really love the way that you slightly mixed the original design with the 1998’s one.

I have maybe a little idea about his background story :
This version of Godzilla was created by an antediluvian civilization (which is sometimes called "Atlantis" or "Mu" by modern peoples) to be a bio-organic weapon used to protect Earth against all forms of threats.
Godzilla was first time awakened by a nuclear testing at Japan’s coast near Odo Island and attack and almost destroy completely Tokyo in the year 1954 but was stopped by the heroic sacrifice of Dr. Daisuke Serizawa and his top secret weapon known as the "Oxygen Destroyer."
However, this creature is actually resurrected by its own extremely advanced but very slow regenerative biology and enter into a deep state of regenerative stase.
Godzilla awoke again when a giant xenomorph creature falls on Earth and steal the D.N.A. of several animals to destroy all life on Earth and the infamous Godzilla becomes eventually the last hope of humanity against this vicious mutated alien creature known as the Gryphon...
