Adorable one Laurie!! LOL I think he might rather be contemplating on swatting that moth or being mezmerized by it's flight patterns!
Thanks again Vampyric-Saiyaness!

I am so glad you did these now- really helpful to be able to test my WIP kitty coats with them! I can see I def need to make some adjustments to them. Will be posting some WIP images with them in my HW preview thread a bit later today.

I admit the Hair Room's brushing and styling tools aren't quite the greatest.

Def each has their own pros and cons. There ARE things I like better about the Poser Hair Room that I wish that LAMH had and vice versa.

I don't actually know LAMH, but there are still things I like in DS that I miss in Poser, and vice-versa. None is the better in everything.

So true I AM glad I got forced to learn DS too. Each program offers me different things for my own artwork that I like and dislike, but I like having both options for different looks. I started in 2004 as a Bryce user and had Poser 2
But I didn't do much with Poser til P5 and left DS alone pretty much til DS 4 since the early versions crashed like crazy on my Macs. DS 4+ finally worked on my Macs enough to make my mess with it more and then lol of course I HAD to learn once I got on board with HiveWire.

Poser 1 and 2 were useless, but I have used 3 a lot. Then 4 was again useless, and I used 5 a lot. Then 6 was unusable, but I used 7 a lot. Things got much better when SMS acquired Poser, for since then new versions were no longer as mediocre as they used to be in the past. Like you said, DS 1 and 2 were useless, but 3 started to show progress, and 4 was the one I got into with Dawn. We were lucky the file 2 file format changes happened before Dawn came out.
It's incredible what these programs can do nowadays, but Poser could had been way ahead if it had any competition in the early days. After all, it had a 10 years head start, but that was wasted with stagnation. Nothing like competition to make things move on. Just a pity it didn't happen in healthier way. There is mud everywhere.

Yeah LOL I seem to have worked with mainly the odd numbers- 5, 7, 9 and now 11.
And yeah there is so much I wish SMS would do with Poser. That darn hair shader is still making me nuts- especially for SF.

haha I know what you mean. That hair shader makes hair look like metal wires. It helps cutting down the specular. One thing I wish Poser 12 could do is finally use Unimesh internally. That would resolve so many issues I have with Poser, to include the incompatibility the Morphing Tool has with JCM editing. It would also quit breaking any OBJ created by Poser, and make Poser morphs compatible with DS. It would resolve so many issues in one strike.
