decided to make a toothless avatar pic, based on toothless from "how to train your dragon". and yes it has vertical pupil eyes xDUpdate:
did some minor changes here and there, specialy some shading hope you all like it ^_^

Dang. Toothless does not show any fear at all in this picture. I love the way you made the green coloring on his eyes. That, along with the black coloring. It's very beautiful!

This is based off of the part where Toothless pins Hiccup down, right?
That part gave me serious chills - especially the music. I'd imagine that's what it would be like being at the mercy of a dragon, no matter how small or cute it is. They can kill you in the blink of an eye; you'd just better hope they see something in you that makes you worth sparing.
And then two scenes later we see him acting like a kitten.
That being said, I love how you did the texture in the eye.

This is, well, amazing, and i have seen some amazing toothless artworks but this, this is not only the best drawing of toothless but, it one of the more scarier poses to have chosen because it is the moment where you see the raw power of toothless when he is angry , if you've seen the movie like I have you should understand what I'm talking about.
