Alias: Kate Stanton
Beginning as a gifted and dedicated scientist, Dr. Kate Stanton studied years of adaptational replication and was responsible for creating highly advanced technology made to duplicate anyone or anything it scans. Kate was intending to use this creation to improve everyday living for Townsville. However her project was cancelled before a big technology auction, which her boss classified as primitive and amateur. But when Kate discovered that her boss secretly showed off her invention and claiming it as her own, she was furious and built a highly advanced body suit made from leftovers of her replicating technology and acquired a new alias, Duplikate, to seek revenge on her boss for stealing her work. Her suit can create exact copies of herself and she is also equipped with hi-tech bracelets which could shoot powerful energy beams which she uses as an advantage during battles. Duplikate is also revealed to have a loving husband named Phil who she reveals to greatly miss following her change into a vengeful supervillain.

· Duplikate’s origin and motive is strikingly similar to Adrian Toomes, also known as The Vulture from The Spectacular Spider-Man, as both were inventers who had their projects and work cancelled by their bosses who later claimed them as their own, which led to their turn to villainy and revenge.
