Description
The BroccoloidsA race of sentient sinister extraterrestrial creatures who resemble mutated broccoli, the Broccoloids have one goal in mind: to terraform Earth into a new alien vegetable empire. The Brain is the lead Broccoloid who comes to Earth to mutate all living creatures on Earth into his own kind with a green liquid laced with mutagenic spores disguised as vegetable dressing. Once consumed, the person will become a Broccoloid and aid in the alien's cause. The Broccoloids plant terraforming seeds in the Earth, which when detonated, will mutate the planet and other living creatures into alien vegetable matter. However, the Broccoloids are shown to have a weakness to dairy. When a mutated victim is in contact with any dairy product, the mutation is reversed, while the pure Broccoloids are reduced to melted broccoli goo.
Abilities: Regeneration, can create and spew dressing-like mutagen, can create Broccoloids from normal broccoli through mutagenic spores (in the case of the Brain)
Notes:
The spore liquid the Broccoloids use to mutate humans (under the guise of dressing) is similar to the mutagen created by Krang or the Kraang species from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
The seeds the Broccoloids use in their attempt to transform Earth into a new vegetable planet for them are similar to the Seeds from Transformers: Age of Extinction. Just like the Seeds can transform organic matter into Cybertronian metal, the Broccoloid seeds transform organic matter into alien vegetable matter.
When the Brain Broccoloid is destroyed, the pure Broccoloids dies, the mutated revert to normal, and the terraforming seeds shrivel and die.
The design and voice of the Brain Broccoloid is based on the Alien Brain Boss from the Courage The Cowardly Dog episode, "Car Broke, Phone Yes."
The Broccoloids' weakness to butter is similar to the Jellians' weakness to mayonnaise from the Spongebob Squarepants episode, "Planet of the Jellyfish."
This interpretation of the Broccoloids do not have spacecrafts or weapons like in the original series. Instead, the Brain arrives on Earth via asteroid like seed and the Broccoloids fight using regenerative abilities and the ability to spew spore liquid.
