Here we have the other half of the two main leads in The Marvelous Movie of Flapjack.....

Captain K'nuckles

A washed up and gruff sea captain who was once a respected pirate captain despite having a maple syrup drinking addiction and having lost both of his hands to a large blade and a sea monster called the Squid Shark and replaced them with wooden prosthetic hands. But his role as captain was short lived when he and his crew had an unfortunate run in with the notorious pirate Blackbeard, who had shanghaied his entire crew. K'nuckles managed to barely escape the Queen Anne's Revenge into the sea but not long after having his lower torso torn from his body by Blackbeard. Despite escaping Blackbeard, K'nuckles quickly got the attention of bloodthirsty sharks but was saved and recovered by a talking female whale named Bubbie and her adopted human son, Flapjack. They helped him in recovering by taking him to Stormalong Harbor where he was giving a wooden lower torso with wooden prosthetic legs to allow him to walk again after losing his legs to Blackbeard. Despite nearly dying from his previous encounter, K'nuckles swears that soon he will get back at Blackbeard for what he had done. Grateful for saving his life, Captain K'nuckles forms a bond with Flapjack, who in turn sees him as a best friend.
